Chery Master Pakistan has started bookings for its all-electric Chery Q at Rs1.5 million. The vehicle is scheduled for its official debut at the Pakistan Auto Show on September 18, 2026. The company will reveal the Chery Q’s final price and complete commercial details during the event.
Chery Q Targets Space and Everyday Practicality
Positioned as an upgrade rather than a simple vehicle swap, the Chery Q combines an electric powertrain with urban-focused design and everyday practicality.
The electric vehicle measures 1,811mm in width and features a 2,700mm wheelbase. This wheelbase exceeds that of most C-SUVs in Pakistan, while rear knee room reaches 152mm.
As a result, the Chery Q offers a spacious cabin while maintaining an urban-friendly footprint. Its package also combines technology, safety features and convenience for daily driving.
The Chery Q comes with electric rear-wheel drive, mobile app control and voice commands. It also features 6.6kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability.
For safety, the vehicle includes six airbags, Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems with 21 functions, and a 540-degree high-definition camera.
Meanwhile, Automatic Parking and three driving modes add further convenience. The cabin also features a 15.6-inch 2.5K display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Chery Q Highlights Electric Running-Cost Advantage
The Chery Q also focuses on reducing everyday running costs through its electric powertrain and battery efficiency.
It uses a 42.7kWh battery and offers up to 400km of NEDC range. Its efficiency is rated at 9.4km per kWh, making it particularly attractive for households using solar power.
At an annual distance of 20,000km, a typical petrol vehicle can require approximately Rs488,000–569,000 in fuel costs. In comparison, the Chery Q could cost approximately Rs30,000 on solar power.
The company’s proposition comes as electric vehicle adoption in Pakistan continues to gain momentum. EV sales increased 257% between FY2024–25 and FY2025–26, rising from 1,839 to 6,560 units.
Meanwhile, Pakistan imported 17GW of solar photovoltaic capacity in 2024. This was more than twice the volume imported during the previous year.
Pakistan’s petroleum import bill also reached $16.86 billion in FY2025–26. Therefore, cleaner mobility could help reduce reliance on imported fuel while supporting better urban air quality.
Chery and Master Group Bring Global and Local Strength
The Chery Q combines Chery’s international automotive expertise with Master Group’s established automotive and industrial presence in Pakistan.
Chery is China’s No. 1 automobile exporter for 23 consecutive years. It operates across more than 130 countries and has over 20 million customers.
In Pakistan, Chery Master draws on Master Group’s more than 60-year legacy. The group also has more than 40 years of experience in the automotive sector.
Chery Master has established 14 3S dealerships across eight cities in less than 10 months. It plans to expand to 20 dealerships across 12 cities during the next six months.
The group’s capabilities cover manufacturing, localization and large-scale operational execution. Through Master Yutong, it has also achieved approximately 80% market share in Pakistan’s bus segment.
Additionally, Procon Engineering components are integrated into around 15% of locally assembled vehicles. The group’s joint venture with Changan has also emerged as one of Pakistan’s leading automotive players.
The venture became the country’s fourth-largest automobile brand within a short period.
With bookings now open, the Chery Q is positioned around electric mobility, cabin space, technology, safety and running-cost value. Its official Pakistan Auto Show debut will reveal the vehicle’s final pricing and commercial details.
