RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing, has organised the Summer Internship Programme 2026 for students from across Pakistan, according to 24NewsHD.
The programme brings together students from different regions of the country. Moreover, it aims to provide participants with learning opportunities and greater awareness of national institutions.
During the event, Chancellor of Al-Ghazali University Mufti Abdul Raheem addressed the participants. He highlighted the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s security forces in operations against Fitna al-Khwarij.
Mufti Abdul Raheem described the efforts of the armed forces as an important religious and national responsibility. Furthermore, he praised the role of security personnel in maintaining peace and protecting the country.
He said Fitna al-Khwarij target Muslims through acts of violence and extremism. However, he stressed that the teachings of Islam promote peace, safeguard innocent lives, and reject all forms of unrest.
According to the speaker, Islam encourages harmony, justice, and the protection of society from violence. Therefore, he urged students to understand the religion’s message of peace and tolerance.
The address also emphasised the importance of national unity in confronting security challenges. Participants were encouraged to contribute positively to Pakistan’s development through education and responsible citizenship.
The Summer Internship Programme 2026 is expected to engage students in various educational and awareness activities. Consequently, organisers hope the initiative will strengthen understanding between young people and national institutions while promoting civic responsibility.
