- NCOC increases number of flights to bring back Pakistanis
While the country has administered over 20 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, (NCOC) on Tuesday decided to increase the number of flights by 30 percent to bring back on a daily basis around 3,000 Pakistanis stranded in different countries.

CEC of AJK retired Justice Abdul Rashid Sulehria on Tuesday rejected an inquiry report by the returning officer (RO) of LA-1, Mirpur-I on the issue of grant of cash by federal minister Ali Ameen Gandapur to a PTI activist at an election-related event in Dadyal and ordered him to resubmit a fresh inquiry after identifying the culpable as well as the beneficiary in the matter.

Mr. Nadeem Nusrat former MQM leader hosted an event in Houston on Sunday afternoon and left with VOK leader Shahid Farhad in a car.
While traveling on Highway 59 South, Mr. Farhad spotted a black SUV suspiciously trying to get closer to his vehicle and then he noticed “a hand coming out of the backseat window of the suspicious vehicle with a handgun”.
He instinctively pulled the brake resulting in a misfire from the assailants. Multiple shots were fired. Mr. Nusrat also witnessed empty bullet shells flying in the air and hitting the front portion of his vehicle, the attackers escaped.

Guo Gangtang’s son was just two years and five months old when he was abducted in 1997 from in front of the family home in eastern Shandong province, where he was playing unattended. Traffickers snatched the boy and sold him to a family in central China.
After years of searching, police told Guo on Sunday that a DNA test had confirmed that a 26-year-old teacher living in central Henan province was really Guo’s long-lost son.

Yashpal Sharma, a member of the India side that famously won the 1983 World Cup, has died of a heart attack at the age of 66.
Yashpal played a key part in India’s first World Cup win that triggered cricket’s rise in South Asia. He played 37 Tests and 42 One-day Internationals as a right-handed middle-order batsman between 1979 and 1985.
