BBC Report: Pakistan Allegedly Sells Weapons To Ukraine

LONDON: The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) claims to possess documents suggesting Pakistan’s involvement in arms sales to Ukraine, contradicting Islamabad’s persistent denials.
According to the BBC Urdu report, former army chief Gen (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa’s association with the alleged arms transactions is highlighted. The report reveals that in August 2022, Pakistan reportedly entered into arms sales contracts totaling $364 million with two US military companies, “Global Military” and “Northrop Grumman,” specifically for the purchase of 155mm shells.
The investigation, based on details from the Federal Procurement Data System of the United States, indicates that these weapons were procured from Pakistan. Both agreements were purportedly signed on August 17, 2022, with expiration dates in October of the same year.
