Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari turned 38 on Monday, September 21. Party leaders and workers marked his birthday with celebrations across the country.
Bilawal was born in Karachi on September 21, 1988. He is the son of President Asif Ali Zardari and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto. He is also the grandson of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
Bilawal’s Political Journey
Bilawal completed his education at Oxford University. He also received political guidance from his mother, Benazir Bhutto.
Following his mother’s assassination in December 2007, Bilawal became chairman of the PPP. He later entered parliamentary politics and won a National Assembly seat from Larkana in the 2018 general elections.
Since then, he has remained a prominent figure in Pakistan’s political landscape.
PPP Workers Hold Birthday Events
PPP workers and leaders attended a birthday ceremony in Lahore. PPP Lahore Vice President Amir Butt organised the event.
PPP Lahore General Secretary Dr Ayesha Shaukat also attended the ceremony. Organising Committee Convener Majeed Ghauri and senior party leader Shahida Jabeen joined the gathering.
Meanwhile, party workers expressed their good wishes for Bilawal and marked the occasion with enthusiasm.
BISP Chairperson Sends Birthday Wishes
Benazir Income Support Programme Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid also congratulated Bilawal on his 38th birthday.
In her message, she highlighted his political role and commitment to democratic values. She said Bilawal entered political life at a young age and continued the public service legacy of Benazir Bhutto.
She also praised his role in the PPP’s political struggle and described him as a representative of the party’s democratic tradition.
