BHAKKAR: Police have registered an FIR against a man accused of sexually assaulting his 12-year-old disabled cousin in Bhakkar.
The incident reportedly occurred in the Ismailwala area, where the girl was alone at home. According to her mother, the accused, identified as Amir Bhatti, entered the house and allegedly assaulted the girl while holding her at gunpoint.
The victim’s mother said she and the girl’s brother returned home shortly after the alleged incident. She claimed Bhatti then fled from the house while displaying a pistol.
Police have started investigating the allegations and are examining the circumstances surrounding the reported assault. Officers are also collecting relevant evidence as they work to establish what happened.

Following the incident, the family took the girl to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bhakkar.
