Department issues fresh notification for administrative changes
The Central Police Office (CPO) Balochistan on Monday issued a new notification announcing several appointments and transfers across the provincial police department, affecting multiple operational and administrative positions in different districts.
According to the official announcement, Acting DSP Monitoring and Evaluation at CPO Quetta, Muhammad Amir Mengal, has been directed to report to the Additional Inspector General of Police Balochistan Constabulary for further assignment.
Additionally, authorities appointed SDPO Othal Khalid Din Khan as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Special Branch under the latest administrative changes.
The notification also included several other field-level transfers aimed at reorganizing responsibilities within the provincial policing structure.
Authorities cite operational needs behind reshuffle
Meanwhile, officials assigned SDPO Washik Sher Ahmed as SDPO Dhadar, while Inspector CTD Balochistan Rakh Ali Shah received additional responsibilities as Acting DSP Othal.
Furthermore, authorities appointed Inspector Kachi District Mehboob Ali as Acting DSP Sanjawi under the revised posting plan.
Inspector Quetta District Anwar Sattar also received a new assignment as Acting SDPO Qila Saifullah, while Inspector Kachi Mohsin Raza has been posted as Acting SDPO Kharan.
Additionally, authorities appointed Inspector Kalat Range Muhammad Ismail as Acting SDPO Tamp.
Officials stated that these transfers and appointments form part of routine administrative measures intended to strengthen operational performance, improve field supervision and enhance overall policing efficiency throughout the province.
The Central Police Office also indicated that authorities may introduce additional administrative changes in the coming days based on operational requirements and district-level needs.
