ISLAMABAD: Babar Azam has smashed the record of most centuries by a Pakistani captain. His match-winning century against England in second T20 on Thursday in Karachi led him to set a new record as captain of Pakistan cricket team.
With target of 200 runs to win the second T20I, the openers Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam produced a batting master-class and completed the target without losing wicket.

Both made a record-shattering 203-run to guide Pakistan to a memorable victory in front of a house-full crowd in Karachi.
In their partnership, Babar Azam scored an 110 off 66 deliveries _ hitting 11 boundaries and five maximums.
This was Babarโs second T20I ton and 10th as Pakistan’s captain. It took him only 84 innings to achieve this milestone of success.
Earlier, Misbah-ul-Haq had the record of nine centuries in 131 innings for the Men in Green.
