James Cameronโs much-awaited third Avatar film is finally coming to homes next week.
Disney announced on Thursday that Avatar: Fire and Ash will be available for digital purchase and rent starting March 31, 2026. The physical Blu-ray and DVD version will follow in May.
The official story of the film follows Marine-turned-Naโvi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and his Naโvi warrior wife Neytiri (Zoe Saldaรฑa) as they continue their journey with the Sully family on the planet Pandora.
The star-studded cast also includes Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Kate Winslet, Jack Champion, David Thewlis, Edie Falco, CCH Pounder, Britain Dalton, Bailey Bass, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss and Cliff Curtis.
Disney said the home release will include more than three hours of bonus features. Thatโs almost as long as the movie itself, which is typical for a James Cameron project known for its detailed world-building and behind-the-scenes content.
Avatar: Fire and Ash takes audiences back to Pandora for another immersive adventure filled with stunning visuals and new challenges for the Sully family.
Fans who have been waiting to watch the film at home will get their chance just days from now. Many are already planning to rent or buy the digital version so they can enjoy it on their own screens with family and friends.
This release comes as Cameron is already busy working on the fourth Avatar movie, but for now, audiences can relive the third chapter from the comfort of their living rooms starting next week.
