Meanwhile, voices of other trapped individuals can be heard in the background, including one person crying out โYa Allahโ and urging others to break down a door, while the man responds that fire blocks the exit.
Rescue teams expand operations as families await news
Rescue 1122 officials confirmed that their teams have entered the severely damaged building and begun a systematic search for survivors and bodies. Authorities continued the cooling process alongside search operations to prevent further flare-ups and to allow safer access inside the structure.
Police reported that families of 59 missing individuals have contacted authorities and provided mobile numbers for identification and coordination. Furthermore, officials traced the locations of 26 people inside the building using available data, raising hopes of locating additional victims.
Outside Gul Plaza, scenes of grief and anxiety continue to unfold. Families of those believed to be trapped gathered near the cordoned-off site, waiting for updates and assistance. Many described feelings of helplessness as rescue efforts progressed slowly due to the dangerous conditions within the building.
