First Album Since ‘Meri Kahani’

Before that, Aslam released Doorie in 2006. The album featured successful songs including Kuch Is Tarah and Maahi Ve.
His debut solo album, Jal Pari, was released in 2004.
The record helped establish him as one of Pakistan’s leading pop-rock singers. It included major songs such as Aadat, Bheegi Yaadein and Woh Lamhe.
These albums played an important role in shaping Aslam’s musical identity and building his popularity across South Asia.
Fans Celebrate Long-Awaited Musical Return
During the long gap between studio albums, Atif Aslam remained active through film songs, independent releases and live performances.
He delivered several successful tracks, including Tera Hone Laga Hoon, Pehli Nazar Mein, Tu Jaane Na, Jeena Jeena, Dil Diyan Gallan, O Saathi and Main Rang Sharbaton Ka.
The singer also appeared on Coke Studio and collaborated with musicians from different countries.
Most recently, he featured in Tu Hi Mera Raazdaan, a composition by British-Azerbaijani musician Sami Yusuf.
The song was recorded live at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. It combined Aslam’s distinctive voice with orchestral arrangements.
Fans welcomed the new album announcement on social media.
Many described it as a major comeback and said they had waited years for another complete album from the singer.
The announcement also created nostalgia among listeners who grew up with Jal Pari, Doorie and Meri Kahani.
Subah Aye Na is expected to introduce a new phase in Aslam’s career while reconnecting him with the album format that first made him a major star.
