Subah Aye Na marks Atif Aslam’s fourth studio album and his first full-length project since 2008. The singer released the eight-track album on July 31 after an 18-year gap between studio records.
The project represents Aslam’s return to an album format after years of focusing on films, Coke Studio, and international tours. Moreover, the singer has openly discussed his desire to create music for himself again.
Aslam said the album reflects his wish to move away from commercially driven projects. Instead, he wanted to focus on writing and composing music according to his artistic vision.
