ISLAMABAD: ARY Digital has revamped its website after a long time, giving a new look to the contents on the main page a variety of news. The new website looks much better than the previous one.
ARY Digital HD (Urdu: ARY ڈیجیٹل) is one of Pakistan’s most prominent television networks, broadcasting a diverse range of dramas, sitcoms, talk shows, web series, and cultural programs. It is available in Pakistan and across international markets through cable, satellite, and online platforms, including its official YouTube channel and ARY ZAP streaming service.
The network was established by Abdul Razzak Yaqoob and Salman Iqbal, under the umbrella of the Dubai-based ARY Group. Since its inception, ARY Digital has been regarded as a pioneer in the Pakistani entertainment industry, introducing innovative formats and reaching audiences far beyond national borders.
History
Originally launched as The Pakistani Channel on 16 September 2000 in the United Kingdom, ARY Digital was created to serve the Pakistani diaspora. It relied on Samacom, a UAE-based uplink provider, as its teleport station. The channel initially followed a format similar to PTV Prime, offering a blend of drama slots, entertainment, and hourly news headlines. Over time, its bold political talk shows and gripping dramas won recognition, helping the network establish a loyal audience base.
ARY later secured a broadcast license in Pakistan, expanding its footprint at home. In 2002, the channel introduced the ARY Star Gold Quiz Show, which made history as the first live program to award one kilogram of gold as a prize. Throughout its run, participants collectively won over 260 kilograms of gold, cementing ARY’s reputation for high-stakes entertainment.

By 2003, ARY Digital had launched three sister channels:
