Empowering Daughters – ‘Tum Mazboot ho’ by Lifebuoy and Human Rights Ministry

A strong mother can raise a strong daughter and make a strong nation

Lifebuoy Shampoo and the Ministry of Human Rights have joined hands to make the daughters of Pakistan strong by building awareness to empower and resilient for the future.

The campaign focuses on ending the silence and raising a voice against domestic violence. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of education to become a stronger mother and raise stronger daughters.

The daughter in the video shows a very supportive role towards her mother who is suffering from domestic violence and is quiet about it.

Whenever the daughter sees a mark or any sign of her father’s violence on her mother, she asks her mother to make her a doctor, so she could put a bandage on her wounds.

Finally, the daughter pledges to protect her mother from her father’s brutality and becomes a shield between them.

To report and getting help in case of domestic violence, call 1099.
