ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has forecast thundershowers and snowfall in the country’s mountainous regions in the next 24 hours.

From tomorrow evening, westerly winds will enter the upper regions of the country. This is expected to bring strong winds to Islamabad. It will also affect Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, the Potohar region, and Northeast Punjab.
The period from October 14 to 17 may witness rain and snowfall in mountainous areas.
Recent rain has intensified the cold and frost in various cities, leading to the closure of Babusertap Road for traffic by the authorities.
People are strongly advised to take necessary precautions and ensure their safety during the forthcoming weather conditions.
