myABL App, Internet Banking and Transfers Face Disruption
Allied Bank customers across Pakistan are facing a major disruption in digital banking services, leaving many unable to access accounts or complete transactions.
Users reported problems with the myABL mobile application, internet banking and fund transfers on Monday, August 10.
Customers attempting to access the mobile application have reported login failures and network-related error messages. Others who managed to sign in said they were unable to complete interbank fund transfers.
The disruption is particularly significant because myABL normally provides customers with access to fund transfers, bill payments, card management, account balances and other banking services around the clock.
Some customers trying to transfer money reportedly received an error stating that the transaction could not be processed and asking them to verify the account or reference number.
However, reports indicate that the failures were linked to the wider service disruption rather than individual account details.
Problems have also been reported with transfers between Allied Bank and other financial platforms.
Customers said some incoming and outgoing transactions could not be processed during the disruption.
WhatsApp Banking and Customer Support Also Affected
The problems have extended beyond the myABL mobile application.
Reports indicate that Allied Bank’s internet banking platform and WhatsApp banking service have also experienced disruptions.
The bank normally offers WhatsApp banking through its official service, allowing customers to check balances, access mini statements and use other banking functions.
Customers have also complained about difficulties reaching Allied Bank’s telephone support service during the outage.
Allied Bank lists 042-111-225-225 as its official phone banking and customer support number.
Some users said calls were failing to connect or were being dropped as customers attempted to seek information about the disruption.
Reports of problems increased over the weekend and continued into Monday.
Customers took to social media to complain about failed logins, inaccessible banking channels and difficulties completing essential payments.
The situation has caused particular concern for people who rely on digital banking for salaries, business payments, bill payments and urgent transfers.
Reports also indicate that some debit card and ATM services have experienced problems during the broader disruption, although the availability of individual services may vary by location.
Allied Bank Acknowledges Temporary Service Disruption
According to TechJuice, Allied Bank sent customers a push notification acknowledging a temporary service disruption.
The notification said the bank was facing service degradation and that technical teams were working to resolve the problem.
The bank also apologised for the inconvenience caused to customers.
However, Allied Bank’s public news and updates page did not show a separate announcement about the current outage when checked on Monday afternoon. Its latest listed corporate news item was dated June 9, 2026.
The exact technical cause of the disruption has therefore not been publicly confirmed by Allied Bank.
Some media reports have described the incident as a backend infrastructure problem, but the bank itself has not publicly provided detailed technical information establishing the cause.
There was also no confirmed restoration time available at the time of reporting.
Customers should avoid repeatedly retrying failed transfers without checking their account history, as delayed processing can sometimes create uncertainty over whether a transaction was completed.
Anyone attempting an urgent transaction should verify its status before submitting it again.
Allied Bank operates one of Pakistan’s major banking networks, while its myABL platform is designed to provide customers with 24-hour access to digital banking services.
The nationwide disruption has therefore affected a wide range of customers who depend on mobile and online banking for daily financial activity.
Attention will now remain on how quickly Allied Bank can restore its digital channels and provide customers with a detailed explanation of the outage.
