RAWALPINDI: A nine-year-old madrassa student allegedly died after suffering violence at an educational institution in Kallar Syedan, Rawalpindi. The child was identified as Muhammad Faizan, who originally belonged to Bhakkar. He was studying at a madrassa in Nalla Muslimana village.
According to police, Faizan was taken to a district hospital after reportedly falling ill. His parents were informed about his condition and began travelling to the hospital.
However, the child died before his parents could reach the facility. His parents subsequently took his body to their ancestral village for burial preparations.
They reportedly noticed marks of violence on the child’s body while preparing him for burial. The discovery prompted the family to contact police and seek an investigation.
Police Begin Investigation Into Child’s Death
Following the family’s complaint, authorities brought the child’s body back to Kallar Syedan. Police took custody of the body and arranged a post-mortem examination. The examination aims to establish the cause and circumstances of Faizan’s death.
Meanwhile, police identified the madrassa teacher as Sanaullah. He reportedly fled the area following the child’s death and the emergence of allegations of violence.
Authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Investigators are also examining the allegations against the madrassa teacher and gathering relevant evidence.
The post-mortem findings are expected to provide important information about the child’s condition and the possible cause of death.
