ISLAMABAD: Ali Sethi, famous singer Ali Sethi and son of Najam Sethi, strongly rejected rumors about his gay marriage with his buddy Salman Toor.
For the past two days, social media is flooded with a slanderous campaign against Ali Sethi, blaming him for gay marriage.

Nonetheless, Pakistan’s A-list singer Ali Sethi has directly responded to the reports surrounding his marriage. The rumors about his marital status had incited the anger of millions of fans. It dominated discussions on the micro-blogging site, now referred to as X, on Friday and Saturday.
Through Instagram, Ali Sethi said, “I am not married.” He proceeded by saying, “I don’t know who initiated this rumor.” Furthermore, he added, “Perhaps they could assist in promoting my upcoming release.”
Sethi promptly followed up by sharing the Spotify link to his latest single, ‘Paniya.’ It is a collaborative effort with American musician Noah Georgeson, featuring lyrics by Taanras Khan.
Notably, Toor, a Pakistani painter now residing in NYC, creates artwork centered around the imagined lives of young South Asian men. His pieces are set within either South Asian or fantasized New York City settings.
Meanwhile, Sethi is gearing up for a global tour. It includes performances in various cities such as Brooklyn, Dallas, Houston, Dubai, Dublin, Glasgow, and London.

Civil Judge may be arrested in minor maid torture case
Meanwhile, officials investigating the abuse of a minor maid hinted at the arrest of Civil Judge Asim Hafeez for investigations under the Children Act.
According to the law, employing a minor itself constitutes a crime.
The investigators explained that Rizwana, the 14-year-old victim’s statement reveals the reality of the torture. They noted that the teenage victim has not yet been able to provide her decisive statement.
Last month, the case of alleged child abuse came to light when a minor girl employed as a domestic helper at the judge’s house, was brought to a hospital in Lahore with severe injuries. The parents of the victim claimed that the judge’s wife, Somia Asim, tortured their daughter.
“We have completed the investigation of the case. We will soon submit the challan to the court,” stated an investigating officer.
