Karachi: Pakistani actor, comedian and host Ahmed Ali Butt has celebrated two major wins at the Sunday Icon Awards, receiving recognition for his performance in Love Guru and his work as a digital content creator.
Butt won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in ARY Digital’s Six Sigma production Love Guru, while he also received the Best YouTube Creator of the Year honour.
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a photograph showing him smiling while holding both awards. He also used the post to acknowledge the people behind Love Guru and celebrate the production’s success.

In his caption, Butt congratulated director Nadeem Baig on winning Best Director and thanked members of the Love Guru team for their contribution.

Samar Jafri Secures Two Major Awards
Meanwhile, rising actor and singer Samar Jafri also secured two honours during the Sunday Icon Awards.
The 23-year-old won Best Singer and Song of the Year for “Mai Rahun,” a track from ARY Digital’s drama Parwarish.
Jafri plays lead character Wali Jahangir in the television series and has attracted attention for both his acting and musical performances.
Moreover, his performance of “Mai Rahun” helped establish his credentials as a singer alongside his growing acting career.
Consequently, the ceremony highlighted achievements across television, music and digital entertainment, with established performers such as Butt sharing the spotlight with emerging talents including Jafri.
