Captain (R) Muhammad Khurram Agha served as Secretary of the Ministry of Interior. However, the government reassigned him as part of the recent bureaucratic changes.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Raza Sarwar has been appointed as the new Secretary Interior. Before this appointment, he served as Additional Chief Secretary in the Punjab Government.
