Lahore’s Sabzazar Police have registered a case against Nasir Khan following allegations by stage actress Arooj Khan.
The FIR includes charges under Section 376, relating to rape. Police said they have started investigating the allegations.
According to the complaint, the actress said the accused initially befriended her. She alleged that he later encouraged her to pursue stage-related work and visit his home.
Actress Alleges Drugging and Sexual Assault
Arooj alleged that Nasir Khan exploited their association and gave her drugs and a juice-like substance. She further alleged that he raped her after she consumed them.
The complaint also alleges that the accused later threatened and blackmailed her. She claimed he threatened to circulate an alleged nude video publicly.
Police said they are conducting raids to arrest the suspect. Investigators expect to take him into custody as they pursue relevant leads.
Police Investigate Previous Allegations
Police sources said the case follows previous allegations involving the same individual. They said Nasir Khan allegedly opened fire at the actress’s residence in 2024.
According to police sources, the incident allegedly followed threats and attempts to force a relationship. Authorities said the accused had reportedly threatened the actress for several days.
A police spokesperson confirmed that investigators have launched a formal inquiry. Police said they are following available evidence and leads to establish the facts.
The allegations remain under investigation, and the accused has not yet been convicted.
