ISLAMABAD: Former police inspector Abid Boxer has been granted bail by the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore in a case related to his alleged escape from police custody and the snatching of government weapons.
Judge Arshad Javed presided over the hearing and approved his bail application against a Rs1 lac surety bond.

Abid, who has been caught up in this legal battle, vehemently denied the police’s allegations, insisting that they are untrue and expressing his willingness to face trial to clear his name. He implored the court to grant his bail application, emphasizing his readiness to cooperate with the legal proceedings.
The case against Abid Boxer was initiated by the Faisal Town police station and has attracted considerable attention due to his history and the seriousness of the charges. Abid Boxer, known for his involvement in various high-profile cases during his tenure as a police inspector, now has the opportunity to establish his innocence in a court of law.
