According to a private TV channel on Tuesday, police detained two people for sexually abusing a foreign woman in a nearby hotel while she was visiting the Fort Munro tourist attraction.
A foreign woman who was visiting the Fort Munro tourist destination in Dera Ghazi Khan allegedly experienced a gang rape at a nearby hotel. After the occurrence, a case was opened under Section 376, 292B.
The Commissioner claims that both suspects were taken into custody eight hours after the incident. The accused will be transported to Lahore for DNA testing while the survivor will go through a medical examination.
In her statement, the victim said that on the night of July 17, Shehzad and his accomplices sexually assaulted her while she was staying at a nearby hotel in Fort Munro.
She also claimed that the accused also recorded films of the incident, and the Border Military Police filed a complaint based on this information.
The accused will be transported to Lahore for DNA testing while the survivor will go through a medical examination.
Hamza Shahbaz, the chief minister of Punjab, has taken note of the occurrence and requested a report from the top police officer in the territory. According to the chief minister, the criminal will be punished by the law, and the victim will receive justice at any cost.
