Humayun Saeed and Sohai Ali Abro Make TV Comeback After Three-Year Hiatus

Actors Humayun Saeed and Sohai Ali Abro are making a comeback to television after a hiatus of over a year, starring in the upcoming drama “Gentleman.” In a departure from the norm, the drama’s premiere took place at a cinema in Karachi.

Speaking at the event, veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari noted the emerging trend of holding drama premieres in cinemas and expressed optimism about the show’s potential success. He highlighted the drama’s strong cast, featuring Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, and Hamza Ali Abbasi.

“Gentleman” revolves around the story of a gangster in Karachi and is penned by renowned Pakistani screenwriter and director Khalilur Rehman Qamar. The drama is scheduled to air on Green TV on Sunday at 8 pm.

The premiere witnessed the presence of various actors and actresses from the industry, signaling widespread interest and anticipation. Abbasi emphasized the significance of television dramas in Pakistani households and lauded “Gentleman” as a unique project that contributes to the industry’s diversity.

Furthermore, Abbasi hinted at his upcoming ventures in cinema, stating his plans to grace the big screen within the next two years.

Offering her perspective, veteran actress Bushra Ansari emphasized the importance of exploring diverse avenues for industry growth. She acknowledged the nascent stage of the Pakistani film industry and underscored the need for patience and continued efforts in its development.
