Gurucharan Singh, Indian Actor, Remains Missing as Father Awaits Police Update

Gurucharan Singh, a well-known television actor, has been reported missing since April 22, prompting deep concern from his father, Hargit Singh. Hargit Singh expressed his anxiety, revealing the family’s eagerness for updates from the police regarding Gurucharan’s whereabouts.

On April 26, Hargit Singh filed a missing person complaint, hoping for a swift resolution to the distressing situation. Speaking to the media recently, he conveyed his shock and the family’s struggle to come to terms with Gurucharan’s disappearance. They are currently relying on the authorities for any information about their son.

The police have registered a case under Section 365 (abduction) and initiated an investigation into the matter following the missing person complaint. They are diligently working to locate Gurucharan and ensure his safe return.

Hargit Singh shared his emotional turmoil with an entertainment portal, stating, “What has happened is very shocking; we don’t know how to deal with it. We are very disturbed and are eagerly waiting for some update from the police. We are waiting for him to return.”

The actor’s disappearance occurred shortly after he celebrated his father’s birthday, which he documented on social media platforms. Despite no elaborate celebrations, the family spent time together at home, creating a sense of warmth. Gurucharan had posted reels from the celebration, expressing his love and admiration for his father.

However, Gurucharan failed to arrive at Mumbai Airport on April 22 as scheduled, and subsequent attempts to contact him proved futile as his phone has been turned off since then. Gurucharan Singh gained immense popularity for his portrayal of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the long-running sitcom “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.”
