Pakistan and China Forge Stronger Maritime Bonds, Tackle Shared Challenges

Pakistan’s Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, recently engaged in a significant meeting with Admiral Hu Zhongming, the commander of China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), during a visit to the PLAN headquarters in Beijing.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), it was highlighted that the discussions between the two naval leaders centered on enhancing bilateral maritime cooperation and addressing prevailing regional maritime security challenges.

Admiral Ashraf emphasized the pivotal role of the Pakistan Navy in upholding maritime peace and stability within the region. His remarks underscored Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding maritime interests and promoting collaborative efforts towards regional security.
