Shehbaz Sharif Allocates 150 Buses to Sindh, Emphasizes Economic Collaboration


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made a significant announcement during his visit to Karachi, declaring the allocation of 150 buses out of a pool of 300 to the province of Sindh. Emphasizing the spirit of fraternity with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, he acknowledged the distinct mandates of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Sindh and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Punjab.

In his address, PM Shehbaz underscored the imperative for collaborative endeavors between the federal and provincial authorities to invigorate the nation’s economy. He emphasized the necessity of making tough decisions, even if they might be unpopular, for the betterment of the masses.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Shehbaz paid homage to the revered poet and philosopher Allama Iqbal at his mausoleum. During this solemn visit, he laid a wreath on Iqbal’s grave, offered fateha, and was accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori. President Raisi also expressed his reverence for Iqbal in the visitors’ book, underscoring the poet’s enduring influence.

The visit to the mausoleum saw the presence of notable figures including Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Commerce Minister Jam Kamal, signifying the collective respect and admiration for Allama Iqbal’s contributions to literature and philosophy.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s gestures reflect not only his commitment to inter-provincial cooperation but also his reverence for the intellectual and cultural heritage of Pakistan. Through such initiatives, he seeks to foster unity and progress across the nation.
