PDMA also mentioned that roads closed by flash floods in Hanna Orak and Chashma Achozai have now been reopened. Additionally, the water flow at Pinjra Pull point in Bolan Pass has been noted.
The PDMA has cautioned against unnecessary travel for tourists and stated that vehicles stranded in flooding at Chashma Achozai have been successfully rescued. Dozens of individuals have also been rescued in Pishin.
Tragically, one man and two children lost their lives due to lightning strikes during the recent rainfall in various parts of Balochistan, including Quetta, Chaman, Chagai, Nushki, Dera Bugti, Sorab, Kohlu, and Khuzdar. Heavy rainfall led to flooding in low-lying areas of Quetta, while Mastung, Kalat, Nushki, Pishin, Kharan, Qila Abdullah, and Kachhi also reported rainfall. Additionally, a dust storm in Kalat reduced visibility in the area.
