In an effort to root out corruption within the Punjab police force, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced plans for a “special court martial” to address the issue. During a special meeting, CM Maryam assessed the province’s overall law and order situation.
A statement released after the meeting outlined the government’s decision to implement a “special audit system” aimed at identifying corrupt and unprofessional police personnel.
