Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti of Balochistan made a significant commitment on Tuesday, vowing to cover the educational expenses of Abubakar, widely recognized as Baba Che, a prominent child influencer across social media platforms.
During their meeting in Quetta, Bugti expressed deep admiration for the talent pool in Balochistan and reiterated the government’s dedication to nurturing and empowering talented individuals like Baba Che.
With a staggering one million subscribers on YouTube and his latest video amassing over 250,000 views, Baba Che’s online presence has solidified his status as an internet sensation. His popularity surged even further following his public disappointment over not receiving an invitation to participate in the ARY News Ramazan transmission, where he specifically mentioned host Waseem Badami. Responding to Baba Che’s concerns, CM Bugti not only gifted him Rs100,000 as Eidi but also announced the government’s commitment to funding his education until he graduates.
A video circulating on Facebook captured the moment Baba Che met Jamal Raisani, Pakistan’s youngest National Assembly member.
During the encounter, Raisani placed a call to Badami in Baba Che’s presence, initiating a conversation that reassured Baba Che of his upcoming inclusion in the Ramazan transmissions. Badami extended a heartfelt invitation, promising to feature Baba Che prominently during both sehri and iftar segments, ensuring his reach to audiences nationwide.
