During a meeting with Ikramullah, a student from Balochistan province enrolled in the 9th class at Lawrence College Ghora Gali, the prime minister emphasized the importance of providing quality education opportunities to deserving students.
Ikramullah, hailing from the 2022 flood-hit area of Qila Saifullah, was personally facilitated by the prime minister to enroll in Lawrence College, a prominent educational institution in the country.
Reflecting on their previous encounter at the Khasnoob camp in Qila Saifullah during the 2022 floods, Prime Minister Shehbaz assured Ikramullah of his commitment to ensuring access to quality education. He expressed satisfaction at the student’s progress and encouraged him to serve the nation with diligence and dedication.
In response, Ikramullah expressed gratitude to the prime minister for the opportunity and pledged to contribute to the country’s development in the future.
PM Shehbaz reiterated the government’s support for Ikramullah’s educational journey, emphasizing that the state would cover all his educational expenses, recognizing the importance of investing in the nation’s youth.
Highlighting the transformative impact of education, the prime minister cited examples of high achievers from Punjab province who pursued education in prestigious European institutions and returned with newfound confidence and skills.
Prime Minister Shehbaz extended warm greetings to the principal and housemaster of Lawrence College, presenting gifts to Ikramullah to aid him in his studies.
In a gesture of appreciation, Ikramullah presented a set of books to the prime minister, symbolizing the exchange of knowledge and commitment to academic excellence.
