Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser emphasized the importance of respecting the electorate’s choices during a public gathering in Swabi on Sunday. He stressed that the people’s mandate, as recorded in Form 45, should be upheld and honored.
Addressing concerns about the integrity of the electoral process, Qaiser called upon the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to initiate a judicial investigation into the allegations raised by the Rawalpindi commissioner regarding election interference.
Asserting the party’s stance on election rigging, Qaiser declared that PTI would not agree to hold another round of elections under any circumstances. Instead, the party is prepared to engage in a legal battle to address concerns about rigging and uphold democratic principles.
Highlighting the economic challenges facing the nation, Qaiser acknowledged the prevailing economic hardships and stressed the need for effective measures to address them.
In a separate development, PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan announced on Saturday that the party’s founder had directed the immediate organization of intraparty elections. He disclosed that Barrister Gohar Ali Khan had been tasked with overseeing the arrangements for the intraparty elections.
Khan shared insights from the PTI founder’s message, emphasizing the party’s commitment to refrain from engaging in political vendettas should a government be formed. Instead, PTI aims to follow a pattern akin to Nelson Mandela’s commission, fostering reconciliation and unity.
Expressing solidarity with incarcerated women, Khan underscored PTI’s unwavering support for those facing imprisonment. The party remains dedicated to advocating for the rights and well-being of all citizens, including women in challenging circumstances.
