Emirates airline has revealed plans to hire an additional 5,000 cabin crew members in 2024 for its upcoming fleet of Airbus A350s.
The recruitment process will span more than 460 cities worldwide, where the airline’s team will conduct open days and assessments to assemble a diverse cabin crew. Successful candidates will undergo eight weeks of training at Emirates’ facility in Dubai. The training aims to cultivate skills such as effective collaboration in a multicultural team, maintaining composure under pressure, and delivering exceptional hospitality and service, reflecting the airline’s iconic brand.
This recruitment initiative is specifically tailored for recent graduates entering the job market. Emirates is seeking individuals with internships or part-time work experience, a minimum of one year in hospitality or customer service roles, and those eager to pursue a career involving global travel.
Last year, Emirates recruited 8,000 cabin crew members after hosting events in 353 cities, resulting in a total cabin crew count exceeding 20,000 and now standing at 21,500.
According to the airline, the new recruits will contribute to the world’s largest international airline, gaining valuable hospitality and life skills from top-notch trainers. The cabin crew members will have the opportunity to travel to over 140 cities in 76 countries, enjoying a comprehensive range of benefits offered by Emirates.
