The army chief lauded the efforts of the Pakistan Air Force, its leadership, and its skilled personnel for achieving “yet another milestone of NASTP Silicon.”

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of Air Staff, shared the vision for NASTP to evolve into one of the best aerospace, cyber, and IT clusters.

He aspired for the park to transform the national landscape with design, research and development, and innovation centers for emerging and disruptive technologies, contributing significantly to social, economic, security, and scientific advancements for the country.

During his visit to Corps Headquarters Karachi, COAS Munir received a briefing on operational preparedness, training matters, and administrative measures taken for the welfare of troops and families of martyrs.

Earlier this month, General Munir was awarded the military medal Order of Bahrain First Class by the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, recognizing his efforts and contributions to strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.

The COAS visited Bahrain, meeting with the king, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Bahrain Defence Forces Field Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Commander of Bahrain National Guard General Shaikh Mohammad bin Isa Al Khalifa, discussing mutual interests and cooperation in military and security matters.
