ISLAMABAD: On Friday, a three-member team from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) conducted an interrogation of Imran Khan, the leader of the PTI, in Adiala jail regarding the £190 million case.

This took place shortly after an accountability court granted him a four-day physical remand in the same case. The NAB team, consisting of Special Prosecutor Sardar Muzzafar Abbas, Mohsin Haroon, and Owaise, concluded their questioning after two and a half hours.
During the hearing presided over by Judge Muhammad Bashir at Adiala Jail, NAB had requested a 10-day remand, but the judge approved a four-day remand and adjourned the case until November 21. Additionally, the court extended bail for Bushra Begum in the case until the same date.
Following the court’s decision, the National Accountability Bureau announced that it would determine the approach for further interrogations in the case involving Imran Khan. Special Prosecutor Abbas confirmed to the media that Imran Khan had been handed over to NAB until 2021, leaving the decision on how to proceed with the interrogation to the bureau.
Imran Khan is already in custody for the cipher case, registered under the Official Secrets Act, with trials exclusively taking place in jail. Recently, warrants were obtained for his arrest in both the Toshakhana case and the £190 million case, leading to his arrest from jail. Although the Islamabad High Court restored his bail application in the Toshakhana case, he remains under arrest in connection with the £190 million case.
