British-Pakistani journalist Reham Nayyar Khan has responded to Twitter users spreading false information about her marriage with Mirza Bilal.
A tweet alleging the separation of Reham Khan and her third husband Mirza Bilal gained traction on social media. In her latest statement, the journalist acknowledged being aware of those behind the dissemination of such misinformation about her personal life but emphasized not giving them undue importance.
Reham Khan addressed the issue in a video where she and her husband debunked the rumors while maintaining a composed tone. She expressed her awareness of individuals attempting to tarnish her reputation, stating that such tactics by a specific political party have never yielded any results and won’t in the future.
Encouraging people to focus on their own lives instead of meddling in others’ affairs, Reham Khan’s husband highlighted that the rumors were a baseless stunt orchestrated by a particular political group to defame his wife.
The video garnered attention on social media as the couple urged individuals to refrain from interfering in personal matters. Reham Khan advised against excessive interest in others’ lives, asserting that her marital status should not be a concern to the public.
Despite some light-hearted banter between the couple in the video, the primary purpose remained to clarify their position on the circulating fake news.
Reham tied the knot with US-based model/actor Mirza Bilal in December 2022, in a private ceremony in Seattle, where they currently reside. This marked her third marriage, following previous unions with Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Ijaz Rehman. Born in Libya in 1973, Reham Khan had a career as a broadcast journalist in the UK and served as a weather presenter for BBC South Today.
