KARACHI / ISLAMABAD: A disturbing video circulating on social media has exposed an alarming incident at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, where a live worm was discovered in the meal served to an international passenger.
This incident has deeply troubled viewers, leading them to call for immediate action by the authorities.

The video clearly depicts an international passenger’s meal containing a live worm, raising concerns about food quality and safety at the airport. Furthermore, there are allegations of favoritism within the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) when awarding contracts for food preparation and service to airport passengers.
Additionally, there have been reports suggesting a recurring lack of response to previous complaints regarding food quality and hygiene standards.
In response to the video’s circulation, the CAA director has stated that they are actively investigating the incident and have taken measures to address the situation. They have already closed the lounge operated by a private company at the airport.
