Smoke-Emitting Vehicles
The Islamabad Capital Territory Police has imposed a ban on the entry of smoke-emitting vehicles into the capital to mitigate smog-related issues.
A police spokesperson confirmed that vehicles emitting smoke will not be permitted to enter Islamabad until January, following the directives of CCPP Akbar Nasar Khan.

Stringent legal actions will be taken against such vehicles within the city limits, as part of efforts to combat environmental pollution and smog during the winter season.
The public is urged to cooperate with law enforcement in enforcing these measures.
Reports indicate that a significant contributor to smog in the region is vehicles emitting smoke, along with factors such as brick kilns and the burning of crop residues, which collectively contribute to environmental pollution. The ban aims to alleviate these concerns and improve air quality in Islamabad.
