Tirah Operation Martyrs: Honoring Four Army Officials for Their Sacrifice

ISLAMABAD: Four brave individuals from Pakistan, consisting of an officer and three soldiers from the Pakistan Army, were given a solemn military burial ceremony after after giving their lives in the line of duty during a recent intelligence-based operation (IBO). This operation was executed by security forces in the general area of Tirah, situated in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Khyber district.

These fallen heroes, who met martyrdom while valiantly combating terrorists in the Intelligence-Based Operation in Tirah, were as follows:

  1. Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider (43 years old, resident of Islamabad)
  2. Naik Khushdil Khan (31 years old, resident of District Lakki Marwat)
  3. Naik Rafique Khan (27 years old, resident of District Charsadda)
  4. Lance Naik Abdul Qadir (33 years old, resident of District Murree)

The funeral prayers for these courageous soldiers were conducted in Peshawar Garrison, with a heartfelt and thankful response from a nation that highly respects them. Their final journey will take them to their respective hometowns, where they will be laid to rest with the full military honors they rightfully deserve.

Corps Commander Peshawar, joined by numerous serving officers, soldiers, civilian authorities, and the general public, attended the funerals to pay their respects and acknowledge the sacrifice of these courageous individuals.

Zardari Advocates Swat-Like Operation To Eliminate Terrorism

Meanwhile, PPP President and former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari stated on Monday that it is necessary to conduct an operation similar to the Swat operation to eradicate terrorism in the country, according to a statement by PPP.

Zardari conveyed his condolences for the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider, Naik Rafiq Khan, Naik Khushdal Khan, and Lance Naik Abdul Qadir during an operation in Tirah, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The former president emphasized that the nation would not allow the sacrifices of its brave men to be in vain. He stated that a Swat-like operation was imperative to eliminate terrorism in the country.
