ISLAMABAD: On October 30, 2023, JDC took a significant step by inaugurating a Free Dialysis Center in Sialkot. This center is named after the generous contribution of Mr. Tanweer, a prominent businessman, who solely financed the project in honor of his mother, Kalsoom Akhtar.

This initiative offers a lifeline to those in need by providing free dialysis services, relieving patients from the financial burden they often face.
The facility strictly adheres to international standards, ensuring patient safety through the use of one-time equipment, which is promptly and safely disposed of to maintain a clean and secure environment for all patients.
Zafar Abbas, the General Secretary of JDC, set a visionary goal of establishing 50 dialysis centers across Pakistan. His unwavering dedication has turned this vision into a reality, addressing a critical healthcare issue in a country with over 17 million kidney disease patients and limited resources. Dialysis treatment, which typically costs over $3000 per year per patient, is often financially unattainable for many, underscoring the importance of such centers.
Recognizing the urgency and the increasing number of patients in need, JDC has already launched free dialysis centers in various cities, including Karachi, offering hope to individuals who were previously burdened by the high costs of treatment.
JDC Welfare Organization, a non-governmental, non-profit entity, is dedicated to serving humanity without bias, with its primary mission being to alleviate human suffering and help people regain their normal lives.
As JDC continues to expand its network of free dialysis centers, its commitment to providing high-quality medical care free of charge remains unwavering. These centers represent a significant stride in reducing human suffering and providing hope to kidney disease patients across Pakistan.
