ISLAMABAD: Aliza Sehar, a renowned TikToker celebrated for her portrayal of rural life in Pakistan, faced controversy when a private video call leaked on social media.
Her videos typically showcase everyday farm tasks like baking bread in an outdoor clay oven, cooking over an open fire, and caring for livestock, resonating with a large online audience.

The leaked video swiftly went viral, making Aliza a social media trend. Initially, she remained silent, but a few days later, she addressed the issue in a video on her TikTok account.
In the video, Aliza disclosed that she learned about the leak three days earlier and visited the Federal Investigation Agency’s Cybercrime office in Multan to file a report. She expressed gratitude for the cooperation of investigators.
Aliza revealed that the person responsible for the leak resides in Okara but currently lives in Qatar. When contacted, the individual admitted to editing the video but denied sharing it online.
However, Aliza expressed her frustration that, while the FIA supported her, they did not take action against the person who leaked the private conversation. She issued a warning to those spreading rumors about her on social media to cease their activities, or she would expose their identities in an upcoming video.
After the leak, unverified rumors circulated online, suggesting Aliza had died by suicide. Her recent video and statements from her brother, however, unequivocally refuted these reports.
