ISLAMABAD: Social media sympathies have poured in for Marriyum Aurangzeb after a new video emerged on social media platforms during the PML-N’s song-releasing ceremony for the return of Supremo Nawaz Sharif after four years.

Shehbaz Sharif, the former prime minister and president of the party, along with organizer Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz, attended the ceremony. However, a viral video on social media captured the moment when Marriyam Aurangzeb was clearing a path for Shahbaz Sharif, only for him to exclude her from the group photo.
Following the video’s viral spread, users on X have been criticizing former Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Journalist Mughees Ali shared the video, remarking, “Shahbaz Sharif positioned Marriyum Aurangzeb to the side and had Hamza Shahbaz stand next to him in the group photo.”
A humorous comment from one user read, “Respect Maryam Aurangzeb”.
One user wondered about the seriousness displayed by Shehbaz Sharif at the ceremony, questioning, “Why is uncle so serious? Isn’t he delighted that his brother is on his way?”
Meanwhile, the final preparations for the rally at Minar-e-Pakistan are underway. The organizers have readied the main stage, and caravans from various regions, including Sindh, have commenced their journey to Lahore.
A Shadow Ban For Her Support To Palestinian Children
Meanwhile, the ban was imposed after she expressed solidarity with Palestine. Mahira herself disclosed this development through a platform story. She had conveyed her support for Palestinian children during the ongoing conflict.
A shadow ban is a covert method employed by social media platforms or online forums to block a user without their awareness.
It effectively rendering their posts and comments invisible to other users.
Notably, the social media giant Meta has imposed shadow bans on numerous individuals who have shown support for Palestine, and several pages expressing solidarity with Palestine have been restricted or blocked.
