ISLAMABAD: Sources reported that a blast in Kunar province of Afghanistan killed as many as 25 members of the outlawed TTP at the banned outfit’s center.
They added that the outlawed TTP members who were killed were planning to carry out cross-border terror activities.

Sources reported last month that Badshah Khan, considered to be the right hand of outlawed TTP chief Noor Wali, died in a landmine blast on September 12 in Afghanistanโs Paktika province.
Khan had been on Pakistan’s most wanted list and was reportedly involved in terrorist operations against Pakistan forces.
It’s worth noting that Pakistan’s armed forces have expressed concerns about the “safe havens and liberty of action” enjoyed by the outlawed terrorist group TTP in neighboring Afghanistan.
The Inter-Services Public Relations issued a statement on July 14, stating, “The involvement of Afghan nationals in acts of terrorism in Pakistan is another important concern that needs to be addressed. Such attacks are intolerable and would elicit an effective response from the security forces of Pakistan.”
This statement came after two terrorist attacks on Pakistani security forces in Balochistan in mid-July, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 12 soldiers in the attacks in Zhob and Sui.
