ISLAMABAD: The updated winter timetable for Pakistan Railways, set to be effective from Sunday, October 15, 2023, has been officially announced and will be implemented throughout the country.
In the latest timetable release, Pakistan Railways has made several adjustments to enhance the travel experience for passengers. One significant change is the introduction of a new stop at Khairpur Railway Station for the Pakistan Express (45 Up), aimed at improving accessibility for commuters in the region.

Additionally, various temporary stops for different train services have been made permanent. Notable examples include the Allama Iqbal Express (9 Up/10 Dn) now making a stop at Lodhran Railway Station, and the Quetta Express adding a halt at Toba Tek Singh Railway Station.
To further accommodate passengers, the duration of stops for specific trains has been extended. Prominent instances include the Green Line (5 Up/6 Dn) at Rohri Railway Station, the Rohri Express (33 Up/34 Dn), the Musa Pak Express (115 Up/116 Dn) at Khanewal, and also the Thal Express (129 Up/130 Dn) at Kundian Railway Station.
