ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mallick, met with Ambassador of Palestine Ahmed Rabei and strongly condemned the genocide of Palestinians by Israeli forces.
During their meeting, the two discussed the dire humanitarian situation in Palestine resulting from Israel’s blockade of Gaza. Mushaal Mallick expressed her deep concern about the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which is placing the lives of thousands of Palestinians at risk of starvation and genocide by Israeli forces.
She called on the international community to exert pressure on Israel to immediately cease its indiscriminate bombings and inhumane siege of Gaza. Mushaal Mallick stressed the importance of Israel’s compliance with international laws and the Geneva Conventions, which are designed to protect civilians, especially in conflict zones.

Mushaal Mallick also appealed to the international community to acknowledge the severe human rights violations in Gaza and advocate for the establishment of a humanitarian corridor to ensure the delivery of essential medical and food supplies to Gaza.
She emphasized the urgent need for global intervention and cooperation to achieve a ceasefire and prevent the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region. Mushaal Mallick reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and pledged to continue raising their voices on international platforms.
The meeting occurred amid Israeli strikes on Gaza following a deadly cross-border attack by Hamas, resulting in significant casualties, including numerous children and women. Thousands of Palestinians sought refuge in southern Gaza after Israel called for the evacuation of over a million people from the northern part of the blockaded enclave in anticipation of a potential ground offensive.
