ISLAMABAD: Unknown armed individuals fatally shot at least six laborers in Turbat city, situated in the Kech district, during the late hours of Friday night.
According to the police, unidentified assailants forcibly entered the residence of Naseer Ahmed, a contractor, and carried out a shooting, resulting in the death of six individuals and injury to two others. The victims were laborers who were asleep inside the house at the time of the attack.

Two workers sustained severe injuries in the incident, and the police promptly transported both the injured and the deceased to the hospital.
The police identified the deceased individuals as Rizwan (son of Allah Dad), Shehbaz (son of Mumtaz), Waseem (son of Mumtaz), Shafiq Ahmad, Muhammad Naeem, and Sikandar.
Among the injured were Ghulam Mustafa, son of Nazir Ahmad from Multan, and Tawheed, son of Jawar Khan from Narowal, Punjab. They were both part of the workforce under the contractor’s employment and were intentionally targeted.
The police have initiated necessary actions and commenced an investigation into the case.
The interim Chief Minister of Balochistan has strongly condemned the killing of the workers and has suspended Superintendent of Police (SP) Turbat. He has also called for an inquiry report from the relevant authorities, expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss of innocent laborers.
Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has instructed a comprehensive investigation into all aspects of the incident and urged for an immediate report, utilizing all available resources to apprehend those responsible for the crime.
