Armed bandits have seized five police officers, among them the Station House Officer (SHO), during an attack on the Kot Shahu police station in the Kacha region of Shikarpur.
According to sources, the incident transpired on Monday evening when a group of unidentified armed assailants forcibly entered the police station. The criminals took the abducted police personnel, which included SHO Mehboob Brohi and his son Muhammad Ali, Secretary Naseem Gopang, as well as two officials named Ayaz and Jan Muhammad Bhakrani, to an undisclosed location before fleeing.
In response to the situation, law enforcement agencies swiftly acted by deploying a substantial police force to the area with the aim of rescuing the abducted police officials.
It’s worth noting that this is not an isolated incident in the area, as just three days prior, bandits had also kidnapped an official at the Rustam checkpoint.
Young Girlโs Dead Body Recovered From A Suitcase With Torture Marks In Karachi
Meanwhile, Karachi police recovered the dead body of a young girl dumped in a suitcase in the Liaquat Abad area. Police reported that they had tortured the 20-year-old young girl before her murder.
Karachi police identified the victim as Areesha, a young girl. Her hands were tied and her body carried torture marks.
Sources informed that the deceased girlโs parents had separated earlier. Areesha, who resided with her mother in Gulberg, traveled to Kemari to meet her father.

After their meeting, she mysteriously disappeared, and someone later found her lifeless body in a superstore in Liaquat Abad.
The father of the deceased girl mentioned that his daughter had requested some financial assistance when they met.
Karachi police are investigating the case, taking into account the statements of her parents.
