Mehmood asked Usman Dar to tell the truth
ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Mehmood Maulvi has stirred another controversy by suggesting that the May 9 tragedy was orchestrated within the President’s House. He claimed that he called on Usman Dar to disclose the details of what transpired.
Mehmood Maulvi, a former National Assembly member who left the PTI, has made shocking claims regarding the organization of the May 9 catastrophe. He supports Usman Dar’s assertion that the software had become outdated.
Maulvi revealed that he had a conversation with Usman Dar a few months ago. He urged him to reveal the truth. He claimed that Dar was present at the meeting prior to the May 9 incidents, where there was an alleged decision to enter the General Headquarters (GHQ).
Reports claim that prominent individuals like Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ali Zaidi, and others actively attended this conference.
It’s important to note that in a recent interview with a private television channel, the former special assistant, after leaving PTI and politics, directly blamed PTI Chairman Imran Khan for the events that took place on May 9.

Meanwhile, Usman Dar, a close aide of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, announced his departure from the party. He cited the events of May 9, when PTI workers vandalized state installations following the arrest of the former prime minister, as the primary reason for his decision.
In an interview, Dar alleged that the motive behind the May 9 events was to overthrow the army chief, General Asim Munir. He also blamed the PTI leadership for orchestrating these events and claimed that Imran Khan himself chaired the meeting that planned the “plan of action” in case of his arrest.
Following the events, a crackdown results in the arrest of numerous party workers and leaders, including Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
