The closing ceremony of the multinational joint special forces exercise “Eternal Brotherhood-II” was held in Barotha, Punjab. This two-week exercise involved Special Forces from Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Turkey, and Uzbekistan and focused on the domain of counter-terrorism.
The Corps Commander of 11 Corps attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest, along with the director general of Military Training and the general officer commanding the Special Service Group. Officers from the participating friendly countries also witnessed the closing ceremony.

During the exercise, Special Forces from the participating nations displayed their professional excellence. The exercise aimed to strengthen military-to-military relations among these countries and enhance joint employment concepts for counter-terrorism operations. It also identified areas of mutual interest for future military collaborations.
Pakistan Army Launches Agriculture Project In South Waziristan Under SIFC
The Pakistan Army has initiated its first agriculture project under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), aiming to transform barren lands into cultivable areas in South Waziristan.
In this regard, the pilot project, launched in the Zarmalan district of South Waziristan, will focus on converting 1,000 acres of barren land into arable land suitable for cultivation. Looking ahead, the Pakistan Army has plans to extend this project to encompass an additional 44,000 acres of land, ultimately contributing to the improvement of the local economy for farmers and addressing malnutrition concerns in the region.
Moreover, Local residents have expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army for completing the pilot project, recognizing its potential to stimulate farming activities and create new employment opportunities in the area.
