ISLAMABAD: On Saturday, Interim Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti accused the Indian intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), of involvement in carrying out terror incidents in Pakistan.
On Friday, two suicide blasts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan resulted in numerous casualties.

Addressing a press conference in Quetta, Bugti pledged to establish the state’s authority at all costs, vowing to avenge every drop of Pakistani blood and eliminate terrorism using all available resources. Hefurther affirmed knowledge of the culprits and their sources.
In the Mastung district of Balochistan, a suicide bomber targeted an Eid Milad un Nabi procession, causing 52 fatalities and 60 injuries. In KP’s Hangu, another suicide blast at a mosque left five dead, including a policeman, and injured 12.
Cases related to the attacks have been registered at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station in Quetta, with charges including murder, attempted murder, and violations of the Anti-Terrorism and Explosive Act. Furthermore, Investigations are ongoing, but no arrests have been made.
The authorities have already recovered four of the six abducted footballers from Dera Bugti, with efforts underway to rescue the remaining individuals. The abduction occurred in Balochistan’s Jani Bair area of Dera Bugti on September 9.
Global Condemnation of Terrorist Attacks in Pakistan
The international community, including the United States, strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Mastung and Hangu, expressing condolences to the victims’ families.
State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller, in a statement on X (formerly Twitter), condemned the suicide attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that killed and injured worshippers and others.
US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome, in a separate post on X, also extended support for Pakistan on behalf of the US and offered condolences to the victims and their families.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the attacks, reaffirming their firm stance against violence and terrorism and pledging solidarity with Pakistan.
The United Arab Emirates’ Foreign Affairs Ministry also strongly condemned the attacks, rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism that undermine security and human values.
Additionally, Iraq, Algeria, France, Türkiye, and Egypt also condemned the terrorist attacks, expressing condolences and solidarity with Pakistan. They reiterated their strong opposition to violence, terrorism, and the intimidation of citizens, while wishing for the swift recovery of the injured.
